Meeting Space

Hillside is a great “venue with a difference” offering high quality meetings space and easy access from Leeds city centre and from Junction 3 of the M621 (just five minutes from Hillside). It is a sustainable building, created by a local development trust, Tiger11, and opened in October 2008.

All profits made at the venue go towards new projects which help regenerate the local community. We can offer a range of creative ideas for you to add community project involvement to your meetings and events, helping you develop your CSR credentials and, at the same time, meet your business objectives – a true win-win!

As a venue Hillside offers:
•    A choice of 7 excellent conference and meeting rooms, all with natural light
•    A range of capacities from 4 – 130, with different layout options
•    An outdoor classroom
•    State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment
•    FREE wireless broadband
•    Full disabled facilities, including a changing space
•    Onsite catering
•    Free parking
•    Dedicated support from the friendly, professional Hillside team

Rooms are available for hire on weekdays from 8am until 10pm, and at weekends between 9am – 6pm. Evening events can also be arranged up to 12 midnight.

Hillside is a fully accessible building, and all meeting facilities are located on the ground floor. Toilets, including disabled units, are situated close to the meeting rooms.

Facilities are hired out for both business and general use. Hillside’s ethos is that we can handle any type of event, so whether it is a conference, seminar, press launch, trade fair, activity class, special occasion or community gathering, we are happy to provide the space.

Creche facilities with an outdoor play area can also be allocated on request, and we have good links with Eduplay (a local social enterprise childcare provider) who can run the crèche for you. And our relaxing lounge/bar area will add a further dimension to your event.

We have partnered with Create to provide a fantastic catering offer. Create is an award winning Social Enterprise, developing innovative training and employment opportunities for people who have been homeless, marginalised or vulnerable and who want a hand up, not a hand out.
